Getting wickets into the ground can be challenging - especially with larger wickets or dense soil (or clay). This dead blow mallet will make the task much easier while it's non-marring surface will not chip the finish on your wickets.

This 4 pound mallet works well for loose soil conditions (when putting in Tournament hoops) or when Foxy wickets are used. We recommend the heavier 5-1/2 pound size hoop mallet the pounding job requires more effort as with finned hoops or firmer soil.
