ALUMINUM SHAFT

Our newest mallet shaft is the standard for our Brighton, Purple heart and Shedua mallets. Our unique and innovative "Taper-Lock" fitting allows the shaft to be installed in minutes on any of our mallets. It also permits the shaft to be rotated to any angle that suits your optimum shot making. Upgrade your mallet to this high performance shaft or perhaps you want a different length shaft. They are available in sizes from 32" - 48" with larger & smaller sizes available as a special order. The lower section is provided with a comfortable neoprene foam grip for more controlled roll shots. The upper section is wooden with an octagon shape, wrapped with our cushion grip for superior comfort and tactile feedback. Color selection of the cushion grips may be selected from the color chart.

Croquet mallets have traditionally been made from fine woods. Our recreational mallets conform to this tradition with a high quality solid ash shaft. To bring out the natural beauty of the wood's grain, we apply a weather-resistant clear catalyzed finish. The octagonal upper section's shape provides a secure grip, it is turned in its lower section and ends in our "Taper-Lock" shape for a simple and effective fastening to the head. This shaft is available in sizes up to 38", with or without the cushion grip (see color chart).

The heads shown above are for standard lengths. Over length heads are available, directly from our our inventory. Please add $10 for any size over the standard length. You can also specify a custom head size (width & height) and have it weighted to suit your individual playing style. Spice up your mallet with this cushion grip featured on all of the Oakley Woods Croquet gripped mallets. This foam grip is impregnated with simulated cork for a comfortable, sure grip that is water and UV resistant. Easy to apply to any mallet, it is available in a wide range of colors (see color chart). It is about 40" long to allow about 20" of mallet shaft to be wrapped. (kit includes double-sided tape)
